At PerforMax, all our doors come standard with Inertia Brake and Reflective Photo Eye safety features. The Inertia Brake stops your door from free falling if power supply is interrupted. The Reflective Photo Eye uses an infrared beam to detect movement when the door is closing. Once the beam is interrupted, the door will roll back up.

We do not commonly see reports of tears in our rubber doors. If a tear does start to form, it’s typically found around the bottom safety edge or near the sides once pushed out of the guides with excessive force. These tears are covered under the Limited Lifetime Warranty.Does the seam on the curtain come apart?

Rubber doors are reinforced polyester fabric and are not easily cut through. It’s designed to be difficult to puncture and would take real effort and an extremely sharp tool to cut through enough to be able to even crawl through.How secure is a rubber door?
